How long is the Sahara tour?

Image
At a bare minimum, you need 2  days , all of which will entail serious amounts of driving. It's about 6 hours of driving in a private  4WD or a  van each way between Marrakech and Zagora Desert, including stops but this 2 days desert tour from marrakech is not enough really to see big dunes, if you want to discover and see big dunes, you will need to take 3 days sahara desert tours from marrakech or 3 days sahara desert tours from fes , so expect to spend a good time in the dunes. Merzouga, on the other hand, has the shifting orange sands and rolling dunes that you’d expect from the Sahara but is 350 miles (560 km) from Marrakech. It takes around 10-13 hours to get from Marrakech to Merzouga, but some people choose to break up the journey with overnight stops in Ouarzazate and/or Dades/Tinghir along the way.                                               ...

Is it worth going to Chefchaouen?

Image
Chefchaouen is one of the most touristy places I visited in Morocco so two days there definitely felt like enough, but it's so beautiful and unique that it was still worth the journey up into the mountains to see Morocco's magical blue city. ... You can easily visit from one of the nearby cities on a tour from fes.  Chefchaouen will make you believe that time travel is possible. It will give you the opportunity to get back to the Middle Ages, as the locals of the blue city have always kept a traditional and simple way of living. Chefchaouen is one of the rare places in the world where it is a pleasure to get lost. Each new little street introduces you to some exotic secret or an amazing place. All streets of Chefchaouen Medina are clean and easy to walk around, both during day time as well as night-time. You might very much like a walk at night-time. You will feel like you are in the middle of a story of the Arabian nights.   marrakech to chefchaouen...
